Network and Computer Systems Administrator (JSE)-JourneymanAMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Network and Computer Systems Administrator (JSE)-Journeyman. The salary range of this position is $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 and is commensurate with experience. To learn more about the surrounding area, please visit: typical day as a Network and Computer Systems Administrator (JSE)-Journeyman may include:Installs, configures and maintains an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems and physical/virtual serversPerforms system monitoringVerifies the integrity/availability of hardware, network and server resources/systemsReviews system and application logsVerifies completion of scheduled jobs and system backupsAnalyzes network and server resource consumption and controls user accessInstalls/Upgrades software and maintains software licensesAssists in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning and coordination between network and data communications hardware and softwareConfigures Brocade and Ruckus networking devicesSets up routing tables and groups to support fast and efficient network traffic across multiple network segments and subnets using multicast and IGMP protocolsMust-haves:Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's Degree with 2 years of additional work experience (5 years total) OR HS Diploma/Equivalent with 4 years of additional work experience (7 years total) OR Relevant Technical Certification with 4 years of additional work experience (7 years total) OR meets CSWF training requirements OR meets the CSWF certification requirements3 years of relevant work experienceCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) OR Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) OR Security CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+) OR Federal IT Security Professional-Operator-NG (FITSP-O) OR GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT) OR GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) OR RHEL certificationThe ability to troubleshoot and support the full network environment, not limited to switch-level issuesExperience with multicast routing using Brocade OR Ruckus equipmentExperience with COMSEC/TACLANE installation and configurationExperience with configuring VPNs and VLANsExperience with AnsibleExperience with ACAS (Automated Cybersecurity Assessment System)Familiarity with STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides)Experience with Linux versions 7–10Familiarity with RHEL, SUSE and Ubuntu distributionsVMware experienceStrong attention to detailMinimum clearance required to apply (candidates who do not currently hold the required clearance will not be considered): DoD Top Secret ClearanceAdditional Accesses: The ability to obtain and maintain the DoD security clearance eligibility and/or additional security access requirements necessary to perform the duties of the position, as required by the contractDesired Skills:Experience with Windows Server 2022/2025 and/or Active Directory (AD)Experience with AWS GovCloud and/or Microsoft AzureExperience with PowerShell, Python, Ansible and/or TerraformExperience with PDQ DeployExperience with VxRailSecurity Clearance Requirement Disclaimer: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain all security clearances, interim security determinations, and/or other access authorizations required by the applicable contract(s).
