Job Duties Develop and implement plans to ensure comprehensive, timely and high-quality patient care services with maximum operating efficiency. Participate in college, hospital, and community outreach activities to promote the Department, Division, and BCM. Deliver high quality orthopedic care to patients at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center and Ben Taub Hospital. Effectively and appropriately engage with office staff and APPs. Discharge on-call obligations and responsibilities as assigned. Be a collegial member in good standing of the department and all hospital medical staffs where you hold privileges. Participate in clinical translational research related to your area of subspecialty expertise as appropriate. Participate in quality and outcomes research as dictated by your Chairman based on departmental and College goals.

Minimum Qualifications Desired Qualifications: Experience in providing medical care in an academic setting or equivalent practice. Experience in using an electronic medical record, EPIC preferred. Experience teaching in an accredited program. Evidence of effective communication skills in collaboration with group practice. Position Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited medical school. License to practice medicine in the State of Texas. Completion of orthopedic surgery residency training program certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or equivalent.
