This role is responsible for building scalable hiring practices, attracting high-impact talent, and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. The position partners closely with business leaders to anticipate workforce needs, elevate hiring standards, and deliver talent that accelerates business growth.A day in the life:Talent Strategy & Workforce PlanningPartner with senior leaders to build proactive recruiting strategies aligned to business prioritiesTranslate workforce plans into targeted hiring roadmaps across corporate, field, and leadership rolesProvide market intelligence on talent trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive recruiting practicesRecruiting LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop the Talent Acquisition team to deliver high-quality, efficient hiring outcomesManage full-cycle recruiting for senior and critical roles when neededEnsure consistent interview practices, candidate evaluation standards, and hiring manager alignmentOperational ExcellenceImplement scalable recruiting processes, tools, and reporting frameworksWork with team to track and analyze recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, pipeline conversion, and diversity of candidate poolsOptimize applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools to improve recruiter productivity – inclusive of AIEmployer Brand & Candidate ExperienceStrengthen the company’s employer brand across digital platforms, campus partnerships, and industry networksEnsure a seamless, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring processPartner with marketing and communications teams to elevate talent brand storytellingSourcing & Pipeline DevelopmentBuild proactive pipelines for critical talent and future leadership needsLeverage creative sourcing strategies across professional networks, referrals, industry events, and emerging platformsDrive partnerships with universities, community organizations, and external recruiting partnersDiversity, Equity & InclusionEmbed inclusive hiring practices across all stages of the recruiting processMonitor pipeline diversity and implement strategies to expand representation in candidate poolsWhat it takes to Join: 8–10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruiting leadershipExperience leading recruiting teams and building scalable hiring strategiesProven success hiring across corporate, digital, creative, and operational rolesStrong stakeholder management and business partnership skillsData-driven mindset with experience using recruiting analytics to inform strategyExperience with modern recruiting technologies – inclusive of AI and ATS platformsDeveloping the Community/ Leadership Qualities:Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality; setting the example for leaders and associates.Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships; driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.Serve as a Pacsun advocate in the industry and marketplace.Recruit, identify, develop, and retain talent that delivers performance excellence.As a manager, serve as a leader of company culture, norms, and conduct.Ability to balance a strong management presence with a high level of approachability, encouraging and eliciting associate feedback and interaction.Salary Range: $138,000 - $159,000Pac Perks:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefitsCompetitive short-term incentive programImmediate 100% vested 401K contributions and employer matchDog friendly office environment$1,000 referral incentive programGenerous associate discount of 30 - 50% off merchandise online and in-storesOn-site CafeOn-site Gym with Fitness ClassesAmple parkingWeekly Car Wash Service and more!Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. As a national retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume.
