Location: Carrollton, TX Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6PM-2:30AM Good Office Vibes Only If you're all about keeping things organized and people happy, this Transportation Clerk role in Carrollton is your sweet spot. Requirements: Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills Experience in transportation, logistics, or office administration preferred Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance reporting is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with drivers and internal teams Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting Proficiency in basic office systems and data entry tasks Strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and support a dynamic logistics environment

Job Duties: Perform general office and administrative duties supporting transportation operations Handle accounts payable/receivable, collections, and basic payroll support tasks Complete fuel reconciliation, billing, database updates, and routine reporting Audit driver logs, trip reports, and DOT-related documentation for accuracy and compliance Maintain driver files and ensure ongoing DOT compliance tracking requirements are met Communicate daily with drivers to support scheduling, routing, and operational needs Track and manage pallet inventory on a daily and weekly basis Maintain and distribute route books and other essential driver documentation Provide customer service support and resolve driver equipment or operational requests Assist with driver coverage needs, including vacation schedules and freight overflow
