Job Title: Inspector, Final/Shipping Reporting To: Performance Leader Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Final Shipping Inspector to join them. You will report to the SR. Operations Coordinator and will have an onsite work schedule Monday – Friday 11:00pm-7:00am in East Aurora, NY. To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you: High School diploma or GED. At least 5 years of related experience in a related technical field. As a Final Shipping Inspector, you will: Coordinate Final Inspections: Organize and assign inspectors to review products coming from stock rooms before shipment. Process Inspection Results: Ensure inspected products are cleared for shipping and documentation is complete. Review Readiness: Check paperwork, contracts, and product condition to confirm readiness for inspection and shipment. Perform final inspection of the completed hardware for external visual and dimensional features such as: Tie-wire, damage, nameplates, lead length etc. Review test data sheets for conformance to specifications, legibility, etc. Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve issues preventing shipments; escalate to manager when needed. Material Movement: Track and manage product flow from stock rooms through inspection to shipping. Customer Interaction: Handle transactional communications with customers regarding shipment status or inspection outcomes. Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $30.00–$40.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
