Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Police Officer, based in Henrico, VA. Daily responsibilities include enforcing laws, responding to emergency situations, conducting patrols, investigating crimes, collecting and preserving evidence, and ensuring public safety. Additional duties include building community trust, preventing criminal activities, and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies to uphold the law and protect citizens. Qualifications Experience in Police work, Law Enforcement, and maintaining public safety Knowledge and hands‑on experience with Evidence handling and Criminal Investigations processes Strong skills in conducting Police patrols and maintaining law and order Ability to demonstrate ethical conduct, integrity, and accountability in professional duties Physical and mental preparedness to respond effectively in high‑pressure, critical situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse communities High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in criminal justice or related fields is preferred Completion of police academy training or equivalent certifications required Valid driver's license and ability to meet physical fitness standards #J-18808-Ljbffr Henrico County Police Division
