Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 18:30 - 07:00, 12-hour shifts including every other weekend and holiday rotations.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care to patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include assisting patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized patient care while promoting safety and comfort.
• Assist in implementing and evaluating patient care plans.
• Actively engage in high-acuity nursing duties, similar to a medical-surgical unit environment.
• Support the Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.As) and respond to patient needs in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 care environment.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical nursing is preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must have a minimum of 13 weeks of Epic experience.
