General bread-and-butter anesthesia cases; obstetric cases are primarily managed by the anesthesiologist

CRNA Job Requirements

Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification and authorization to practice in Texas

Board-eligible or board-certified status considered

Prior anesthesia experience preferred; qualified new graduate CRNAs are welcome to apply

Ability to provide safe, effective anesthesia care across general surgical cases

Strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to collaborative patient care

CRNA Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive general anesthesia care for bread-and-butter surgical cases

Complete preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans

Manage patients throughout induction, maintenance, emergence, and immediate recovery

Monitor patient responses and promptly address changes in clinical status

Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using applicable systems, including Medaxion and Qgenda

Follow established anesthesia safety, quality, and patient-care standards
