Sr.Cost Accountant/Plant Controller - Manufacturing

The Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing and managing manufacturing costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting operational decision-making. This role partners cross-functionally to improve cost control, profitability, and financial processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements, cost reports, and variance analyses Perform monthly standard cost updates, inventory valuation, and cost roll-forwards Maintain accurate general ledger activity, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Track and evaluate production, labor, overhead, and inventory costs Support monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting Develop and maintain financial models and operational reporting tools Partner with operations and supply chain to provide actionable financial insights Support audits, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience in a manufacturing environment with a cost accounting focus Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Excel and general accounting systems Ability to manage deadlines and collaborate across team #J-18808-Ljbffr Genuine Search Group
