Houseman / Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Houseman / Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of the hotel by maintaining cleanliness, assisting housekeeping staff, and performing general maintenance tasks. This role is essential in ensuring guest satisfaction, safety, and the overall appearance and functionality of the property.Houseman DutiesSupport housekeeping staff with linen delivery, trash removal, and supply restockingMaintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, lobbies, meeting rooms, and back-of-house areasAssist with room inspections and preparation for arriving guestsRespond promptly to guest and housekeeping requestsSet up and break down meeting spaces or special event areas as neededMaintenance DutiesPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry workConduct preventative maintenance throughout the propertyRespond to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas in a timely mannerReport safety hazards, equipment issues, and repair needs to managementMaintain tools, equipment, and maintenance storage areas in an organized mannerQualificationsPrevious hotel housekeeping or maintenance experience preferredBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbsFlexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
