The Periop Assistant role provides basic patient care. Job Summary Provides basic care pre-operatively. Assists in the assigned perioperative area. Provides post-operative collaboration to maintain a clean environment. Understands the basic principles of asepsis. Assigned daily tasks Qualifications Education High school education or the equivalent required. Experience Previous experience in health care field preferred. Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
