Senior Accountant - CPA

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (CPA) to join our team in Florida. This New role is focused on core accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The position reports directly to the CFO and works closely with the Finance Lead on cross-functional initiatives.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
• Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Record, categorize, and reconcile company expenses and credit card transactions.
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (Federal and State)
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes
• Collaborate with the Finance Lead to support reporting and business needs (non-finance ownership role)
• Mentor team members on accounting best practices

We are Offering

• Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 USD (based on experience)
• Performance bonus eligibility: up to 15%

• Up to 10 additional days weeks during Christmas Holidays

We are Looking for

• Active CPA license (required)
• 7-10 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with multi-entity or consolidation accounting
