Front of the House F&B Manager – Crowne Plaza KC Kansas City, MO Hotel Equities, a multi‑award‑winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is searching for a remarkable Front of the House F&B Manager for the Crowne Plaza KC Downtown in Kansas City, MO. Job Purpose Manage the Front of the House Food & Beverage department to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting or exceeding financial goals. Assist in the Banquets department as directed and oversee day‑to‑day operations within the assigned budget, marketing plans and objectives. Responsibilities Hire, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel staff, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve issues, maintain open communication, discipline and terminate when appropriate. Manage the assigned budget, marketing plans, forecasts and objectives to meet or exceed expectations. Implement company and local programs, develop procedures, and ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and all relevant laws. Resolve customer complaints to maintain high satisfaction. Comply with emergency procedures and training to protect guests, staff and assets. Promote accident prevention to minimize liabilities. Assist in the maintenance/sanitation of front and back of the house to protect assets and ensure quality service. Qualifications and Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of Food & Beverage leadership experience. Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards. Key Skills and Abilities Advanced knowledge of hospitality and business management. Working knowledge of other major areas and ability to integrate information. Analytical skills to improve practices or develop new approaches. Decision-making following policies and procedures, keeping the Director of Food & Beverage informed. Highly developed communication skills in leading employees and achieving guest satisfaction. Excellent oral and written skills for communicating with managers, guests and employees. Strong literacy skills for reports, policies and procedures. Vision ability to visually inspect hotel operations. Mobility to walk through front and back of hotel and restaurant outlets.
