Our organization is looking for a full-time pediatric endocrinologist to become the fourth member of a well-established and collaborative team within the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at our children's hospital. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a pediatric endocrinologist who is passionate about inpatient care, education, and advancing their career in a nurturing academic setting.

Key Clinical and Academic Duties:

• Providing inpatient care for pediatric patients and newborns

• Managing pediatric sedation and complex care cases

• Engaging in the education of medical students and residents from Pediatrics, Medicine-Pediatrics, and Family Medicine

Position Requirements and Details:

• MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Endocrinology

• Excellent communication abilities, with a focus on a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care

• Capability to teach, mentor, and work alongside medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals

• Opportunities for professional growth and participation in medical education initiatives

About Our Department and Facilities:

• A strong academic Department of Pediatrics featuring multiple residency programs

• A diverse and esteemed division dedicated to patient care, education, and quality enhancement

• Team composition includes 3 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, registered nurse diabetes educators, a registered dietitian, and an endocrine nurse

• Facilities include 60 Level IV NICU beds and 19 PICU beds

• Home to the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in the region

• The sole Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) serving 25 counties

• Exclusive provider of 24/7 pediatric emergency services in the area
