Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Work independently or with industry specialist to troubleshoot/diagnose problems with production machinery Set-up, run, troubleshoot, and tear down mining machinery Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic and 24V electrical systems Troubleshoot machinery errors Communicate issues with machines to project management when necessary Work with equipment operators to ensure machines are running safely and properly Perform required refueling and lubrication tasks. Perform other duties as required. Ability to perform work in a safe manner, while following best practices and in accordance with company policies

Qualifications

5+ years of direct Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience with repair on yellow iron. Ability to understand, follow, and communicate written and oral instructions with management or supervision. Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently

Requirements

Able to meet all physical requirements Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Able to climb, work at heights, and in confined spaces

Wages

$62.85 per hour. New hires must join Operating Engineer Local 302. Health insurance and pension are administered by Union.
