Serving as the primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing, Shared Services, and IT, this role provides deep functional and technical expertise in SAP FICO, CO-PA, Product Costing, Controlling, Treasury, Financial Reporting, and integrated third-party applications.This position requires a highly technical SAP Finance subject matter expert with proven experience leading ERP implementations, systems configurations and integrations, finance transformation initiatives, process redesign, and automation projects within a U.S. manufacturing environment. The Financial Systems Manager is responsible for defining and executing the financial systems roadmap, driving cross functional enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring data integrity and compliance, and delivering scalable technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness and financial performance.Job DescriptionServe as the primary business and technical owner for SAP Finance and Controlling applicationsLead the design, governance, configuration strategy, and continuous improvement of finance and controlling processesPartner with Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain leaders to ensure SAP solutions support evolving business requirements, manufacturing processes, and reporting needsProvide expertise in manufacturing accounting and costing conceptsDevelop and execute the Finance Systems roadmap aligned with business objectives, finance transformation initiatives, and operational excellence goalsLead financial systems modernization efforts, upgrades, migrations, and implementation projects while driving continuous process improvementAct as Program Manager for enterprise finance initiativesManage third-party consulting resources, system integrators, and software vendorsDevelop project plans, resource requirements, budgets, timelines, risk mitigation plans, and executive-level status reportingLead the design and support of: Product costing, Standard cost development, Cost center structures, Profitability reporting, Manufacturing KPI reportingDevelop and enhance CO-PA reporting to provide actionable visibility into, Customer profitability, Product profitability, Sales channel profitability, Market segment performance, Gross margin analysisLead the development and optimization of financial reporting and analytics platformsEducation / QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline10+ years of progressive experience supporting and implementing enterprise Financial Systems7+ years of hands-on SAP Finance experience in a manufacturing environmentProven success leading full lifecycle SAP implementations, upgrades, integrations, acquisitions, carve-outs, or major finance transformation initiativesExperience managing large-scale cross-functional projects and third-party implementation partnersExperience integrating SAP with enterprise applications supporting expense management, banking, tax, collections, reporting, and treasury functionsStrong understanding of manufacturing accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and profitability reportingDeep expertise with:SAP FICOCO-PAProduct CostingCost Center AccountingProfit Center AccountingFinancial Close ProcessesManufacturing Cost AccountingPreferred Qualifications:SAP S/4HANA implementation experienceSAP FICO certificationArtificial Intelligence integrationExperience with data warehousing technologies, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, or similar reporting platformsCPA, CMA, PMP, MBA, or equivalent professional certification; solid understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements is preferred.Experience supporting publicly traded manufacturing companiesExperience leading finance transformation, shared services, or process automation initiativesAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.Vicor is an EO employer – M/F/Veteran/DisabilityCompensation DataSalary Range $130,000 - $160,000We encourage qualified candidates to apply even if the posted salary range is below your expectations.
