Parts CounterpersonAs a well-known Carrier Refrigeration and Volvo dealership, we have 14 locations throughout Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin and Tennessee. If you describe yourself as a people person and a great communicator, this is the position for you!Job Duties:Provide exemplary customer service to in-person and over the phone customersAnswer and resolve customer questions using component and product knowledge of replacement parts and systems for all product linesPromote all merchandising specials, advertisement, and product lines awareness to customers to drive units per saleAssist in warehouse and vehicle inventory counts and adjustmentsPartner with Sales and Service department to fulfill customer ordersAssist in parts display merchandising, warehouse maintenance and department housekeeping to include shipping and receiving parts ordersAdhere to all GTR policies and procedures for pricing, loss inventory prevention and tracking loss salesDesired Competencies:Experience with heavy equipment and/or refrigeration unit parts preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganized and detail oriented Team PlayerBasic computer skills to include outlook and Microsoft office suiteFlexibility to meet changing demandsQualifications:Safety focusedHigh school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's licenseForklift operation experience preferred2+ years' experience as a Parts Counter person or similar position preferredBenefits: Quarterly BonusesHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance401K with company matchingCompany paid Short-term & Long-Term Disability InsuranceWe're an equal opportunity employer.
