Picking Clerk – Warehouse/Distribution

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am-4:30p
Shift: 1st Shift
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Picking Clerk to join our warehouse and distribution team. This position is responsible for accurately locating, picking, staging, checking, packaging, and consolidating merchandise according to picking documents.

The Picking Clerk will work within both bulk and stockless departments and assist with the stockless transfer process. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Locate and accurately pick merchandise according to picking documents and customer orders.
• Stage picked merchandise in designated areas for processing and shipment.
• Check orders for accuracy, quantity, and condition.
• Package and consolidate merchandise according to established procedures.
• Support operations in both bulk and stockless departments.
• Assist with the stockless transfer process as needed.
• Safely move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Follow established warehouse, quality, and safety procedures.
• Meet productivity and accuracy expectations.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Work overtime when required to support business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred .
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing and available to work overtime as needed.
• Must successfully complete a post-offer background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, candidates must be able to:

• Stand and/or walk for extended periods, including shifts exceeding eight hours when overtime is required.
• Frequently bend, reach, stretch, walk, and push or pull carts.
• Lift and handle merchandise weighing up to 60 pounds or more .
• Repeatedly push and/or pull carts weighing 100 pounds or more throughout the shift.
• Perform repetitive physical movements associated with warehouse order picking.

Schedule

Monday through Friday
8am-4:30pm

Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
