If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level.The Mechanic 1st Class is responsible for the upkeep and repair of a wide array of equipment, such as delivery vehicles, heavy-duty machinery, on-road tractors, and trailers sourced from different manufacturers. They specialize in diagnosing and fixing issues with hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronic systems, and engines. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.Responsibilities:Repairs gas and diesel vehicles.Operates standard and manual transmission.Operates power and pneumatic tools.Ensures all vehicles are maintained regularly and in a timely manner.Qualifications:Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday.Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in fleet repair, preventive maintenance, electrical diagnostics - heavy-duty vehicles.Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.Requirements:Must have an active driver's license issued by the state.Must be 21 years or older.Must be willing to work 9:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. shift, Monday-Friday.Must possess the required hand tools required to perform the applicable job assignment.Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment.CDL Class A or B - Preferred.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
