Full‑time status and benefits start at 30 hours per week Competitive compensation package + bonus plan Fully covered malpractice including tail coverage Competitive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance and more Matching 401k plan Career growth opportunities Responsibilities Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for patients, adults and children, in cooperation with center physicians Adhere to the service and courtesy standard of Piedmont Urgent Care by delivering the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times Provide patient care within the respective clinical area in compliance with the Professional Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, and Piedmont Urgent Care policies and procedures Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff Generate authenticated reports of all services rendered and maintain accurate, complete records Complete necessary documentation, ensuring communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement Participate in meetings and activities to support operations of the urgent care Participate in professional development activities, maintain certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS, and maintain any additional specialty training or certifications required Report to the Regional Vice President of Clinical Operations and/or Area Clinical Operations Director (ACOD) Minimum Qualifications Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP‑C or FNP‑BC) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) in Georgia Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study Current DEA registration Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses Experience reading diagnostic studies including X‑rays and EKGs Current BLS certification (provided if needed) Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees Personal Characteristics Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and employees Positive, energetic attitude that inspires other team members Sense of service and team orientation, free of hubris Desire to contribute to building and maintaining a great organization Additional Qualities Willingness to go the extra mile to create an outstanding experience for customers and to train and lead the center team to do the same Desire to work in concert with others in an upbeat, supportive atmosphere while reinforcing the organization’s mission to provide uncompromising service Compelling desire to serve others, improve your community’s health, and have fun every day Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer.
