What is this career opportunity We are looking for an experienced Accountant with an understanding of SABHRS to join our team of 6 Financial Systems Analysts.

Simply put

these roles act as translators between the business owners the State Accountants and our SABHRS programing team. You would be integral in ensuring SABHRS functions to meet the needs of Accountants across State Government. Less simply put The Financials Systems Analyst is responsible for: Overseeing the installation configuration and testing for new existing or modified SABHRS (PeopleSoft) modules. Focusing on meeting the business needs of our stakeholders. Testing components to determine system performance. Trouble-shooting system issues. Providing solutions to the States business process issues. Conducting research about existing and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and efficiencies. Technical support and project management. ccounting and SABHRS experience are both crucial to this role and we are ready and willing to train the technical aspects the successful candidate will need to learn. Knowledge of principles practices and procedures associated with the design development and support of computer financial applications. Knowledge of MS Office software products and ability to learn new tools quickly. Use analyses and judgment to make decisions to solve complex problems. Understand system data integrity and apply information security standards. Identify and consider possible alternatives before making decisions. Education and Experience: A bachelors degree in accounting business or related field and two years applicable experience. OR An associates degree in accounting or related field and four years applicable experience. AND Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
