Must-Have: Must be willing to float to 8 different units. Experience in telemetry monitoring and interpreting strips. Ability to perform cardiac drips and read tele strips.

Description: Responsible for cardiac monitoring and the administration of cardiac drips. Will float throughout the hospital to various Med/Surg Tele areas. Telemetry monitoring includes measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. Must have TR Band experience. Clinician to patient ratio during days and evenings is up to 5:1. During nights, the ratio is up to 6:1. Care for patients from the emergency department and those in the acute mental health unit. Provide care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready from the ICU. Bed count for the facility is 371. Census in units ranges from 8 to 41 beds. Rotation between days/evenings and nights is required. EMR system used for charting is EPIC. Active Massachusetts RN License and relevant certifications are mandatory.
