Join our growing organization and help us bring healing, hope, and advanced care to the communities we proudly serve.**## ****In This Role, You Will:***** **Update and maintain the electronic medical record with up to date vital signs, patient demographics, medication reconciliation, allergies and medical diagnoses*** **Manage Physician inbox messages and prioritize tasks assigned via the electronic medical record*** **Assist in maintaining the medical inventory; place orders for new materials and stock rooms to ensure adequate supplies for physician staff*** **Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments*** **Escort patients to exam rooms*** **Provide patient education concerning medications, management of diseases, home treatments, and special diets*** **Assist physician with exams and/or procedures*** **Prepare and administer Injections*** **Phlebotomy and collection of other lab specimens*** **Perform point of care lab testing*** **Perform EKGs*** **Administer and document medication under a physician's order and follows the five (5) medication rights and reduce the potential for medical error**## ****We Require:***** **Current NYS LPN license required.*** **Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.*** **Consistent professional conduct and meticulous attention to detail.*** **Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.*** **Experience with EMR's*** **Reliable transportation to any of NYCBS location for patient care needs**## ****What We Offer:***** **Salary: Starting at $36 per hour based on experience*** **Benefits: Health Insurance on day 1, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-term disability, 401k Plan, Paid Time off (PTO), 8 paid holidays (2 floating)****Join us at NYCBS, where we are making strides in healthcare through innovative and compassionate care.Visit our website at: Nycancer.comFollow us on Facebook: NYCBS on Facebook\*New York Cancer and Blood Specialists is an Equal Opportunity Employer.\*** #J-18808-Ljbffr
