Counselor

Overview STCH Ministries is seeking Counselors in Victoria, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Houston. Responsibilities The Counselor will serve as a front‑line provider of Christian mental health care, fostering social, behavioral, personal, and spiritual growth for clients through professional therapy. The Counselor will also teach and present seminar material as opportunities arise and as requested by STCH Ministries staff leadership, and will support the mission, programs, and faith tradition of the ministry. Qualifications Licensed counselor or licensed counseling intern. Passed the National Counseling Exam (NCE). Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited university. Compensation This full‑time, salaried role offers competitive compensation at the ministry’s pay scale, with health, dental, and retirement benefits. Salary will be discussed during the interview process and is based on experience and education. Location Counselors may be based in any of the following locations: Victoria, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, or Houston.
