Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW)

Columbia Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department in Washington, DC. In this role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy and clinical support to adults, adolescents, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. You will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, formulate individualized treatment plans, and deliver ongoing individual, family, and group therapy using advanced therapeutic approaches aligned with best practices and current research.
As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care. You will monitor patient progress, regularly update treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed. Documentation will be completed in a timely and accurate manner within our electronic health record, in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards.

You should be able to manage a clinical caseload, maintain appropriate boundaries, and demonstrate strong skills in assessment, diagnostic formulation, psychotherapy, documentation, and interprofessional communication.
