This per diem opportunity places you working alongside educators and specialists, utilizing your skills as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Paraprofessional to serve K–12 students. What you’ll need to succeed:

• Current IL PEL – Paraprofessional certification, required
• Active RBT credentials strongly preferred
• Experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or developmental needs, ideally in school settings
• Strong communication and adaptability skills; able to collaborate with teachers and support learning plans
• Professionalism with adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards

Role responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing student behavior plans under the supervision of BCBA, special education teacher, or other professionals
• Provide direct, hands-on support and positive reinforcement to K–12 students throughout the school day
• Collect and document student data as directed
• Support teachers with classroom management, instructional activities, and social-emotional strategies
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students
