Geriatric Medicine - Physician - NYC Health + Hospitals - Queens Hospital Center - Queens, NY

Description NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, a teaching affiliate of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in culturally diverse central Queens, is seeking a Geriatrician (BC/BE) in the Department of Ambulatory Care to join its faculty in the Geriatric Practice of the Adult Primary Care Service. Graduates of the June 2025 and 2026 cohort are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Direct patient care, teaching and supervision of medical residents and students in a public, community hospital setting. Qualifications Medical Degree (MD/DO) – completion of an accredited medical school program is required. Residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; board certified preferred. Fellowship in Geriatrics; board eligible or certified. Compensation Faculty appointment at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with qualifications. Compensation range from 236 000 to 241 000 (not including bonuses, incentive compensation or benefits). NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program as a designated Health Manpower Shortage Area for Primary Care. Actual salaries depend on experience, specialties, historical productivity and hospital/community need; therefore an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range or outside the listed range.
