Electrician

Trillium Construction is now hiring Journeyman Electricians for a large commercial roof-top solar job in Wood Dale, IL! Scope of work Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on commercial rooftops. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and site plans. Mount racking systems, solar panels, inverters, and electrical equipment. Run conduit and pull wire according to electrical code requirements. Make electrical connections from solar arrays to inverters, disconnects, and distribution panels. Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure proper operation. Install and terminate AC and DC wiring. Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes. Work closely with foremen, project managers, and other trades to complete projects on schedule. Conduct jobsite safety inspections and maintain a safe work environment. Inspect and maintain solar equipment as needed. Document completed work and assist with project closeout activities. Monday - Friday, Saturday as needed 7 am - 5:30 pm (50hr+) Pay: $107.74 Qualifications At least 10 years of electrical experience Solar experience is preferred Owns basic hand and power tools Can work at heights Ability to pass pre-employment screenings Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
