Sushi Chef - $1,250 Sign-On Bonus - Uchiko Cherry Creek

Job Description: Hai Hospitality (Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba) is accepting applications for Sushi Chefs. In this role, you will serve as vital member of our team to enrich the culinary and service experience for our guests. We're offering a $1,250 Sign-On Bonus! Paid after 90 days following completion of training. Sushi Chefs can expect the following compensation: The estimated total average hourly compensation for Sushi Chefs (base hourly pay of $16.27 + tips) is $28-$48/hour This role will become eligible for tips upon completion of training and once Uchiko Cherry Creek opens to guests. After completion of training Sushi Chefs are estimated to earn average daily tips of $50-$200, depending on volume. ***These are estimates and actual tips may vary. What you'll do in this role: Acquaint yourself with our menu, current specials, and Japanese cuisine. Learn and perfect your sushi techniques under the guidance of our skilled Chef teams. Understand proper handling and waste reduction of product Interact with guests at the sushi bar; take orders, explain dishes, and cultivate an amazing experience for yourself and the guest Learn our various sushi stations and progress as your knowledge and skills grows Collaborate with our teams to create dishes that will be showcased on our specials page and core menu!
