Step into an impactful and rewarding role supporting students with special needs in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple positions are available requiring a commitment from September 9, 2026, through June 26, 2027. All placements are on-site and offer varying caseloads across K-12 populations—assignments are determined by your experience and professional preferences.
Openings include:
- A middle school life skills program serving 12 students with the support of 4 instructional assistants, focusing on both behavioral and academic development.
- An elementary K-2 developmental classroom with 16 students and 5 instructional assistants, emphasizing functional routines and basic skills with a diverse group including non-verbal students.
- Two roles in an elementary behavioral health center for grades 3-5, working in a specialized setting with intensive behavioral supports and a collaborative team of 4 instructional assistants.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification required.
- Experience in school-based special education programs strongly preferred.
- Flexibility to work with kindergarten through 12th-grade students.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning and behavioral needs.
