The Learning Center Teacher will work in a model of service delivery offering academic support and co‑teaching in the general education classroom combined with pull‑out specialized instruction for small groups and individuals. Students requiring assistance and support have mild to moderate disabilities covering a range of disabilities. Job Requirements Qualifications: Master's degree. Experience/training in language-based instruction/dyslexia including Wilson, O‑G, Brain Frames, EmPOWER Writing, etc. highly desirable. Must have a Massachusetts licensure in Moderate Special Needs through the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. Must have demonstrated success with and be knowledgeable about current research-based interventions for children with disabilities. Must possess demonstrated ability to develop positive behavior intervention plans. Experience with the administration and interpretation of a wide range of formal and informal diagnostic assessment and evaluation tools. Excellent writing and communication skills required. At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Postgraduate Certificate degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
