Geriatric Nurse Practitioner- Orange County, NY

Location: Orange County, NY (Port Jervis & Middletown)
Employment Type: Full-Time On-Site No Nights No weekends

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care to residents in assisted living communities. This position offers meaningful patient relationships, clinical autonomy, and a schedule designed to prevent burnout.

No nights. No weekends. No burnout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and examinations
• Perform medication reviews and manage chronic and acute conditions
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic testing
• Prescribe medications within NP scope of practice
• Educate residents and families on health maintenance and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation using eClinicalWorks

Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
• DEA registration
• Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid billing
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (geriatric or long-term care preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
