Job Description

Database Administrator I (HEX525; multiple positions; full-time)

Hexaware seeks Database Administrator I to work in Iselin, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to monitor database performance and conduct performance tuning. Optimize queries, indexes, and database configurations for improved performance. 

Diagnose and resolve database-related issues and errors.  Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and upgrades.  Implement data regulatory control for the database systems. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field, plus two years of IT experience. The two years must include one year of experience with PowerShell scripts, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Domestic travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required up to and no more than 10%, based on Hexaware’s business needs, and will be reimbursed by employer.
