We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all kitchen surfaces are kept clean and organized.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.

Requirements

• Food Handler Certificate Required
• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
