Director, Warehouse Management Logistics Systems

In This Role Enterprise System Expertise Develop and execute the technology roadmap for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Yard Management Systems (YMS), and related tools Utilize WMS data to improve warehouse processes, such as picking, packing, and receiving Oversee strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of WMS, TMS, and YMS platforms Manage third‑party vendors and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), including performance and relationships Lead RFP/RFI processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations Ensure seamless integration between logistics systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle) Drive end‑to‑end implementation of enterprise logistics systems Create metrics to measure system performance with operational productivity, risks, and ROI Manage systems for high‑volume, multi‑site distribution environments (e.g., facilities exceeding 1 million square feet) with a focus on both B2B and direct‑to‑consumer fulfillment Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership to align technology with business goals Strategic Modernization & Innovation Lead warehouse modernization initiatives, including automation technologies (e.g., Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), or sophisticated conveyor sorting systems) Implement AI‑driven solutions for inventory optimization, labor forecasting, and route planning Monitor system performance and scalability to support business growth Leadership and Team Management Lead and mentor team to deliver results aligned with Four Hands' strategic objectives Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, encouraging idea sharing and best practices Foster individual growth and skill enhancement through regular feedback, training sessions, and professional development opportunities Monitor progress towards goals through regular check‑ins and performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to analyze performance outcomes, identify areas for enhancement, and propose innovative solutions Foster a culture of trust, teamwork, and collaboration, promoting continuous improvement and employee engagement Other Duties Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team Be open and honest Reach for excellence Act with responsibility Value the whole person Enjoy the journey The Ideal Person 12+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, logistics or enterprise systems leadership 6+ years of experience in third‑party management, tier1 and 2 WMS platforms, and integrating with ERP systems. Experience in the CPG industry is a plus Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, IT or relevant discipline Proven experience in a similar senior role, logistics, distribution operations, and WMS platforms (e.g., Infios/Koerber, Blue Rock) Expert‑level experience in vendor selection (RFP/RFI processes), contract negotiation, and managing third‑party Managed Service Providers (MSPs) Four Hands is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
