Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the Temporary Cash Reconcilliation Specialist is to bring cash reconciliations current across more than 100 bank accounts, spanning 10-12 financial institutions. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records through detailed account analysis and reconciliation activities.

Responsibilities

• Performs timely and accurate cash reconciliations across multiple bank accounts and financial institutions
• Review client receipts and accurately post payments to client accounts
• Verify invoices for proper documentation and approvals prior to payment
• Process vendor payments and prioritize invoices based on payment terms
• Prepare and coordinate check runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Audit and process corporate credit card expenses
• Review and process employee expense reimbursements
• Maintain vendor records and update vendor information as needed
• Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries
• Allocate expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers
• Support additional accounting and finance projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, Business or Accounting degree preferred
• 1-3 years of cash reconciliation experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Type:

Temporary, full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Assignment is expected to last approximately 4 to 6 weeks with possibility of extension
