This individual will partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Analysts, and Technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that improve portfolio oversight, streamline workflows, and strengthen the team’s overall infrastructure.This role sits within a fast-paced, high-volume index portfolio management environment and requires both strong technical capabilities and a solid understanding of capital markets.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with Portfolio Management, Research, Operations, and Technology to deliver data-driven insights, investment analytics, and portfolio reportingDesign, develop, and maintain custom tools and applications to support ETF and indexed portfolio managementEnhance existing portfolio oversight and monitoring frameworks, with a focus on scalability and efficiencyBuild and deploy quantitative models and analytics across internal and external portfolio management systemsAutomate and streamline daily workflows, reporting, and optimization processesContribute to the evolution of the team’s data architecture and technology infrastructureExperience0–3 years of experience in quantitative analytics, development, or a related roleExposure to the asset management or financial services industry is beneficialDemonstrated ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented, high-volume environmentSkills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related fieldStrong programming capabilities, with experience in Python and/or R (additional languages such as C++ or Java are a plus)Experience working with data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, Polars)Familiarity with data engineering and database environments, including Snowflake, is preferredUnderstanding of ETL pipeline development and data workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow)Exposure to cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker) is beneficialExperience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflowsFamiliarity with portfolio management and analytics platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Charles River, Axioma) is a plusExposure to front-end development frameworks (e.g., Flask, Dash) is advantageousCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliverables with attention to detailEffective collaborator with strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholdersIntellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovationWork EnvironmentFull-time position based in Downers Grove, IllinoisCollaborative, team-oriented environment aligned with the North American Equities platformThe salary range for this position in Downers Grove, IL 110,000-138,500/year.
