Insurance Sales Agent

Responsibilities: • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales • Implement marketing strategies including, but not limited, to cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while simultaneously maintaining a portfolio of current clients • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals • Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied Meet with clients via Zoom or phone Review client needs and explain coverage options Follow a simple, proven sales process Complete basic applications and follow-up Qualifications: • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree a plus • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders • Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial Strong communication skillsCoachable and willing to learnReliable internet and phone accessSales or customer service experience a plus (not required)Willingness to obtain the required state insurance license (training provided) Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly
