Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer chemotherapy and medications following established protocols and safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Assess patient needs, monitor responses to treatment, and document clinical findings accurately.
  
  
• 
  Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and education related to oncology care.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety precautions, infection control, and medication administration guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and update patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, side effects, and post-treatment care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license and graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of oncology nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Complete or be able to complete the bio/chemo or fundamentals course from ONS within 2 weeks of hire.
  
  
• 
  Maintain BLS certification through the American Heart Association, renewed every two years.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to react effectively during emergency situations.
