Join our dynamic team as a Cath Lab Technician in a fast-paced healthcare environment, where you will be responsible for assisting in various cardiac procedures and maintaining a sterile field for patient safety.

• Shift: Day, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
• Call Requirement: Weekend call required

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • One of the following: RCIS or ARRT
• Preferred Certifications:
  • ARRT Advanced Certification
  • CCI RCIS

Required Skills

• Structural heart scrub experience is mandatory
• Experience with the following procedures:
  • Balloon Angioplasty
  • Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
  • Stenting
  • Thrombectomy
  • Impella insertion
  • Left & Right Heart Catheterizations
  • Rotablader atherectomy

Preferred Skills

• Experience with:
  • Watchman Procedures
  • Septal Closure
  • Cardiac Ablation
  • Coil Embolization
  • Filter Placement
• Ability to perform rhythm interpretation and conscious sedation

Job Responsibilities

• Accurate monitoring during procedures
• Assist with the clinical duties in the catheterization lab
• Maintain the sterile field while scrubbing procedures
• Work effectively in a team to ensure optimal patient care

Additional Information

Travelers may be required to float to other departments, though this is rare. Unit may have a patient holding area inside the Cath Lab, which travelers may need to assist with occasionally.

Orientation is based on the facility's schedule, and the expected start date is subject to change. Full availability with no other commitments is essential to accommodate scheduling.

Interview Process

Candidates must provide availability for interviews within 72 hours of submission. An interview is required before an offer can be extended.

Dress Code

Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
