Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations on a Medical/Surgical unit with 17–18 beds
• Manage and treat patients with common diagnoses including Pneumonia, COPD, CHF, CVA, and Cancer
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EHR
• Float to all areas of the facility as required to meet staffing needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR (required)
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Must meet travel contract requirements (candidate must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with conditions such as Pneumonia, COPD, CHF, CVA, and Cancer
• Comfort with floating to multiple units within a large acute care facility
