Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, utilizing both standardized assessments and keen observational skills.
• Create tailored treatment plans focusing on immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver personalized one-on-one speech therapy interventions targeting language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a range of professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families to support and enhance progress beyond the clinical setting.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure integrated care throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation to comply with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Commit to professional growth by staying informed on the latest advancements in the field through continuous education and teamwork.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in pursuit of your ASHA certification.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
