Senior Associate, Co-Invest Finance

This position is responsible for all elements of accounting, reporting, and administration for Audax Co-Invest and General Partnership funds. The candidate will work with other team members to maintain a scalable accounting function that provides high-level support to the organization. Responsibilities include timely and accurate daily, weekly, and quarterly accounting, weekly management reporting, and quarterly financial statements for various funds. The role also coordinates the year-end audit process, serving as liaison with external auditors, and supports quarterly deliverables, deal-level allocations, and other internal ad-hoc requests. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who can translate concepts into effective, concise, and timely work product. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are important, and the role may evolve with business needs as Audax Co-Invest grows. Responsibilities Responsible for accounting, reporting, and administration of Audax Co-Invest and General Partnership Funds, including quarterly financial statements, capital accounts, and weekly management reporting through Investran. Coordinate the year-end audit process, serving as liaison with external auditors and ensuring timely resolution of audit requests. Review and analyze financial information for combined reporting, valuation support, and disclosure requirements. Draft and review financial statement footnotes, including investment valuation disclosures (ASC 820), fair value hierarchy analysis, and related party disclosures. Prepare and review NAV calculations and investor capital account statements. Partner closely with the Tax team to deliver accurate capital allocations supporting quarterly estimates and tax payment calculations. Review of legal documents, including Limited Partnership Agreements, structure charts, and management services agreements. Coordinate with management company team for reconciliation of payables. Communicate with investors on a regular basis to provide documents related to capital activity, tax, compliance and account statements. Work with investors to complete ad-hoc reporting requests. Close interaction with Business Solutions team and FP&A team to implement system solutions/efficiencies in relation to accounting systems and recurring reporting requests. Assist in the testing and implementation of reporting solutions. Propose new reporting initiatives and projects as challenges/inefficiencies arise. Qualifications BS in Accounting with an advanced degree (CPA strongly preferred) 4-7 years professional experience including public accounting, preferably focusing on alternative investment asset managers Understanding or experience with Private Equity or other alternative investment structures preferred Experience with accounting software preferred (Investran experience a plus) Advanced Excel user with a high level of attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams in order to meet tight deadlines Professional individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and lead a team and colleagues Location Boston, MA. 3 days/week in office. These in-office requirements may change based on the needs of the business. Compensation For Massachusetts, the base salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation may vary and will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience. Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
