About the Position

Job Opportunity – PreOp/PACU RN – Ohio

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift; 3x12 hour shifts (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM) or flexible 4x10 hour shifts (10:00 AM - 8:30 PM). Call requirements include every third to fourth weekend. Patient ratio of 1:1.

• Work with complex cardiac and vascular procedures including CABG, TAVR, AAA repair, EVAR, femoral bypass procedures, angiograms, pulmonary decortication, and ablations
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 40-hour orientation program to support successful onboarding
• Opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac care environment with adult patient population
• Previous charge experience preferred, providing leadership development opportunities

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Pre/Post operative nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Level 1 trauma and/or outpatient experience preferred
• PACU experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Please note that Ohio fingerprinting must be completed promptly upon contract signing. Compliance deadlines are strict, and candidates must be responsive throughout the credentialing process. Former employees are eligible after being away from the facility for 6 months or more. Two professional references are required, with at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor.
