Loader Operator

Loader Operator - Utility Crew Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our utility crew. This person will operate a front-end loader to support a 4-person pipe crew with excavation, material handling, and backfilling activities. The Loader Operator must be able to lift 50+ pounds, enjoy working outdoors, and be comfortable working long hours in all weather conditions. This position requires teamwork, communication, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities: Operate a front-end loader safely and efficiently to move and load materials such as dirt, stone, and pipe. Assist the pipe crew with excavation, backfill, and material handling needs. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Communicate effectively with the crew and foreman. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with other duties on the job site as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience operating a front-end loader (Not a fork lift position) Experience working on a pipe or utility crew preferred. Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and specifications. Must be dependable/hardworking and possess excellent teamwork/communication skills Willingness to work long hours and some weekends when necessary. Dependable transportation to and from the job site. A positive attitude and a team player. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly. Work in sitting, standing, kneeling, or crouched positions for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
