Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Labor & Delivery – NursingShift: Nights. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend coverage.Bed count: 15. Patient population: Adults.Requirements:1–2 years of recent OB/L&D experience required.Travel experience required; facility does not accept first-time travelers.Basic/intermediate fetal monitoring experience required.Valid RN license in the state or a compact RN license required at time of submission.Certifications required: BLS, NRP.Other certifications noted: AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS.Key clinical skills: External and internal fetal monitoring, assist with vaginal delivery and C-section recovery, management of hemorrhage and pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, neonatal resuscitation skills.Responsibilities:Provide care and support to patients during labor and delivery.Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.Assist with labor management and delivery processes.Implement interventions for complications as needed, including hemorrhage management.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.Compliance / Notes:Travelers expected to float to like units within scope as needed. Pre-approved time off must be listed at the time of submission.
