Health And Safety Co-Op - Summer 2026

Mason, Ohio We have a Summer 2026 Co-Op opportunity in the Safety Department!

The VEGA Americas co-op program is designed to give students real-world, hands-on experiences. This paid position allows students to use the knowledge they've learned in the classroom and apply it to everyday workplace scenarios. Co-ops are full members of their department with daily responsibilities, and graduates who complete the program will obtain new skills they can use in their careers. What you'll do:

• Assist in obtaining and setting up the safety data sheet (SDS) program.
• Assist in creating Jobs Safety Analysis (JSA) evaluations on new equipment and processes.
• Assist in developing lockout/Tag-out procedures for new and existing equipment.
• Assist in training on these programs and procedures.
• Assist in safety inspections.

What you'll need:

• Sophomore or beyond in a 2 or 4-year degree program
• Must be able to work from our Mason office

Pay

$17 - $19 USD
