Role and Responsibilities: TVS Security Officers are the front line of protecting the School community and managing risk in a manner respectful of the School's core values, culture, and climate. Officers help to provide an environment that ensures student, faculty, and visitor safety while supporting the School's mission.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performing basic security services, greet all persons entering campus, patrol campus, control access gates, monitor multiple cameras, perform traffic control, perform registered sex offender checks, operate access control systems, operate building alarm systems, submit incident reports, secure campus nightly, assist with school emergency drills, and in the event of a medical emergency, render first aid.Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements:The ideal candidate willHave prior experience as a security officer.Support fully our missionRecognize, embrace, and engage in efforts to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion.Exemplify personal and professional integrity.Work collaboratively with TVS faculty and staff.Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.Be proficient with Microsoft and Mac software.Successfully complete background screening.Application Requirements:Qualified candidates should complete an online application for employment and attach a résumé by visiting Trinity Valley School Career Opportunities.
