Radiologic Technologist

Job Overview The Department of Public Health (DPH), Clinic Operations is recruiting Radiologic Technologists to perform x‑ray radiographic procedures, produce diagnostic images, and maintain patient safety. Responsibilities include positioning patients, selecting appropriate radiation exposure, adjusting technical controls to obtain images, maintaining equipment cleanliness, scheduling servicing, troubleshooting issues, and reporting malfunctions. Responsibilities Perform radiographic examinations and apply appropriate radiation exposure while upholding safety standards. Adjust technical controls, including specialized views when standard imaging is not possible. Maintain equipment cleanliness and schedule required servicing. Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions. Assist with scheduling and patient preparation for imaging procedures. Minimum Requirements State of California, Department of Public Health Radiologic Technologist certification. Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Health Association. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Two (2) years of experience as a registered x‑ray technologist in a medical institution. Conditions of Employment Travel throughout San Bernardino County may be required, including work at the three Federally Qualified Health Centers located in San Bernardino, Ontario, and Hesperia.
