About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, CNOR preferred Must-Have: Must have nursing license in hand for auto offer Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. Candidates must have experience in an acute care setting, particularly in the operating room. The role includes preparing the operating room, assisting during surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Travelers must be willing to float to similar units as needed. Weekend shifts may be required based on facility needs. Position requires adherence to safety protocols and participation in code responses. Nurses will use the Epic charting system and should have experience with it. This facility is recognized as a Magnet facility and a Level II Trauma center. Nurses will care for a diverse patient population, including pediatric, orthopedic, and trauma patients. Candidates need to provide proof of required certifications and references during the compliance process. All time off requests must be approved on an individual basis. Active participation in educational and training modules is required. Travelers are expected to work during major holidays as needed. Housing arrangements should be considered prior to starting the assignment.
